Return and Refund Policy

 

Return / Refund Policy - Live Animals

At Fairytale Spoods, we strive to ensure that every adoption is a magical experience. However, we understand that sometimes things don’t go as planned. Please review our Return / Refund policy below:


ALL LIVE ANIMAL PURCHASES ARE FINAL

All Animals are sold as depicted unless otherwise specified. Orders must be fully paid before shipment. Unshipped animal orders cannot be canceled or refunded unless mutually agreed upon. Refunds are only provided if an animal is DOA (dead on arrival) and no replacement of equal value is available. In the event of a DOA, please contact us with photographic evidence within 1 hour of delivery. 


Customer Responsibilities for Live Animal Delivery:


  1. Temperature Control: Upon delivery, the customer must bring the animal inside to a temperature-controlled environment (68°F-78°F)(their home / residence).
  2. Facility Pickup: If agreed upon, the customer must pick up the animal from the UPS/FedEx facility the morning of delivery.
  3. Timely Retrieval: If the animal is not brought inside to a residence or picked up within 15-30 minutes of delivery, we are not responsible for the condition the animal arrives in.


We are NOT to be held responsible for any mistakes, delays or any other incident that may arise from FEDEX, UPS, USPS, or ANY other delivery service utilized. 


1. Adoption Fees

All adoption fees are non-refundable. These fees help us cover the costs of caring for our spoods and ensuring they are healthy and ready for their new homes.


2. Health Guarantee

We guarantee that all our spoods are healthy at the time of in-person adoptions, or for overnight shipping receival. 


3. Return Policy

If you find that you are unable to keep your adopted spood, please contact us within 7 days of adoption. We will accept the return of the spood and work to find them a new forever home. However, the adoption fee will not be refunded. The customer will also be responsible for paying the return shipping charges and fees. 


4. Special Circumstances 

In the event of unforeseen circumstances, such as a severe health issue or other significant problem, please contact us directly. We will review each case individually and work with you to find a suitable resolution. No replacement / refunds will be provided for animals deceased under the care of the customer after 7 days of delivery.

Return / Refund Policy - Dry Goods

Dry Goods: Refunds are available within 15 days of purchase with a receipt. Some restrictions may apply. After 15 days, refunds or exchanges are not available.


Eligible for Return: Items must be unused, in the same condition as received, and in their original packaging. 


Damaged During Shipping: If an item arrives damaged, we will issue a refund or replacement once we receive proof of the damage. Please provide time-stamped photos of the damaged items as soon as you open the package. Resolutions will be handled by a case by case basis. 


Non-Returnable Items: Perishable goods, including food and feeder animals, cannot be returned. Gift Cards, Custom or Personalized Items, Made-To-Order Items, items marked as "Final Sale," and items purchased at in-person events.
